Business Pimps – Managing Perceptions

Rob Greenland over at The Social Business has written a strong piece about his perception of a new breed of enterprise adviser.  {Rob has now unpublished this post}

While I don’t agree with all that Rob has to say I can see elements of truth in it and it certainly demonstrates the challenge that faces enterprise growth programmes in terms of managing gaps between perception and reality.

The importance of client centredness as a driver for the enterprise advisers work rather than the need to bag an outcome is key!

    Hi Mike

    thanks for the link. Just to explain that I unpublished the post because on reflection it broke my rule of not writing something in a blog that I wouldn’t say to someone in person. I’ll think more about the issues here over the next few days and then respond to your post.
